"How can I help and take a poll?"

Usually at the same time residents are taking my poll at the post office, I will enable you to share your views on the same poll as well by taking it online. Sometimes, I may conduct an exclusive online poll in which the results come only from people like you who take the poll online. If there is a poll for you to take right now, see if the "Latest Poll" option is in the navigation bar.

How do I examine the poll results?
How do you calculate your margin of error?
Can I see the results in a different format?

The poll will simply be listed below with the questions and answers and the answer with the highest response highlighted in yellow.

The margin of error will be listed at the top and is based off an estimation of total population of Oakland from 2010 from Wolfram Alpha (seen on the left). The margin of error is calculated by using this website as I plug in the population size, the population of Oakland, and the sample size, how many people I surveyed in this particular poll.

If you would like to see a spreadsheet of one of our polls, you may find it here. If there is a poll not uploaded to this page, please contact us and we will upload the poll  spreadsheet you want.
